PAPUA ORIGINAL SOUND FROM THE EAST established in 2004 in Jakarta, a Papuan artists who wanted to boost their country.
In 2005, they worked on the debut album "Papua Original". Named Papua Original was because the songs they created using the language of Papua. In their second album in 2015, they developed their music with a different genre, and also used Papuan dialect. They used the APUSE song (which is already widely known by the Indonesian people), turn into a new version without removing the element of the original song.
In 2017, Papua Original released a third album (spiritual nuance), and also launch a single called "BAHAGIAMU": The song is also used as an ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK for BOVENDIGOEL film, played by CHRISTINE HAKIM and J-FLOW.
