Cristina Morrison is an actor, singer-songwriter & producer. Cristina was born in Miami and has lived between Quito (her mother being Ecuadorian), Miami, Los Angeles, Rome, the Galapagos Islands and currently lives in New York. Morrison had her debut on stage at age 16. She studied theatre and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in the 90's. Soon after she founded and held post as Executive Director of a 110 seat house, El Socavon de Guápulo Theatre Foundation in Quito where she also produced her own plays. She currently navigates between music, film and theatre. Cristina recently had the honor to be a speaker at TEDx Galapagos and was a recipient of ATI Best Actress Award for Latin theatre in Ny. She also is called to be a moderator, master of ceremonies and as part of jury committees for theatre and film festivals. In Her most recent indie films, Agujero Negro, which she's an executive producer as well, & Nobody's Watching will open in 2017.

Cristina has two album productions, I LOVE & BARONESA where she collaborates with musicians to compose and she writes all the lyrics. BARONESA, her most recent disc, in 2016 received two Independent Music Awards nominations for Best Vocal Jazz Album & Best Vocal Jazz Song and her upbeat track, Princesa Baronesa, was a finalist at the USA Songwriting Competition. BARONESA is an eclectic cross genre world jazz album in several languages where she brings in her experience as an actor making her show onstage unique as she incorporates with theatrical elements and plays with a wide range of visuals designed by Laia Cabrera & Isabelle Duverget. 

Part of her album sales support, ARTEDUCARTE, an educational program through the arts in the public schools of Isabela Island in the Galapagos.
