is a Indonesian singer, songwriter, actress, and host. She is best
known for her singles, “Sweet Talk”, “I Don’t Mind” and “Ku Tunggu Kau Putus” as well as in blockbuster movies “Koala Kumal” and “Galih dan Ratna”.
Born on 4 December 1996, in Jakarta, Indonesia, Sheryl began her career as a solo musician in 2009 releasing her first self-titled album “Sheryl Sheinafia” under Musica Studios. In 2014, she became a music show host called “Breakout” on NET TV and was recognised for her uniqueness in hosting whilst singing and playing the guitar.
In 2017 after hosting and releasing her debut album, she grew interest in
performing arts and received roles in movies that casted her as leading roles.
This experience also lead her to her first award in the movie scene as
“Breakthrough Actress of The Year” on “Koala Kumal” and “Indonesia’s Best
Female Actress” nominee for “Galih dan Ratna” in the following year.
Despite the recognition received from the industry for acting and hosting, in 2017 she returned to her roots as a musician to release her self-written hit “Sweet Talk”, produced by Tushar Apte which became her biggest release to date. It was also well known for the unique vertical music video production and received “Best Music Video of The Year” from SCTV awards and many other nominations after its release.
