Starting from a music event in Jakarta, who would have thought that the event was a silent witness of the formation of Lalahuta, the music group. This unique name comes from the name of a woman named Lala Hutabarat given by the late Denny Sakrie, who at that time was the host of the music event.
Initially, Lalahuta is consisting of Beno on guitar, Boni on drums, and Allain with his bass who had often been a session player for several famous musicians such as Citra Scholastika, Pasto, Angel Pieters, and Harvey Malahollo. Their musicality and abilities are unquestionable. Lalahuta is more complete with the presence of Jordan and Yanni who are believed to fill the vocalist position.
In the early careers, this music group played in cafes and some hangouts in Jakarta such as Rolling Stone Café, Lucy in the Sky, Kitchenette, and Beer Garden SCBD. However Lalahuta's formation with Beno, Boni, Allain, Jordan and Yanni did not last long. Yanni chose to leave the band and left Quincy Jordan as Lalahuta's main vocalist.
