Bintang Indrianto – Born in Jakarta on June 2, 1966, he proudly introduces himself as an “Indonesian Bass Player.” This isn’t just because he is the son of a renowned Indonesian bassist, but also because of his deep love and pride for the music profession in his beloved homeland, Indonesia. Bintang Indrianto has been active in the music world for over 40 years. His name has been part of Indonesia’s jazz scene since the 1980s. Beyond being a bassist, he is also known as a music arranger for various artists, a session bass player for several albums by Indonesian musicians, and a music director for theatrical performances—showcasing the many sides of his musical journey. Throughout his career, Bintang Indrianto has released 20 full-length albums and 40 singles, all available on major digital streaming platforms. Every aspect—music, lyrics, composition, arrangement, mixing, and mastering—is an original production by Bintang Indrianto himself. In early 2025, Bintang Indrianto launched a new band called the Bintang Indrianto Trio, featuring Bintang Indrianto (bass), Denny Chasmala (guitar), Yoiqbal (drums), Imot (saxophone), and Eggy (trumpet). The group has already released several singles, which can be enjoyed on Bintang Indrianto’s YouTube channel and across all digital streaming platforms.
