Dwiki Dharmawan, continues his mission to promote Indonesian culture abroad even as he celebrates it at home, seeing music as a bridge to promoting peace and understanding between people of all nations. Having traveled to over 80 countries in a career that spans more than three decades. Dwiki Dharmawan is one of Indonesia’s most gifted and celebrated music personalities: a multi-genre keyboardist, composer, producer, peace activist and cultural icon. His album, “Pasar Klewer,” cruised at even higher altitudes — earning Dwiki a coveted 5-star review in the iconic Downbeat magazine, the widely read and highly respected All About Jazz, as well as equally exalted praise from respected music critics across the globe. Despite a long, storied musical career which has been marked by large-scale successes and critical acclaim worldwide, Dwiki remains constantly in search of new musical ground. His Bandand his one of his musical projects, the World Peace Band, aims to bring social harmony and raise consciousness around the world. Especially for his appearance at the 20th edition of the 2025 Javajazz Festival celebration, he will summarize works from his various albums such as World Peace Orchestra, So Far So Close, Pasar Klewer, Rumah Batu, Hari Ketiga and even from his latest album which was just recorded in Athens, Greece with Gilad Atzmon and will be released this summer.
