Rick Karnadi isn't just a musician—he's a storyteller. His music is where emotions and memories turn into lyrics. Rooted in hope and storytelling, Rick fills a void where space, nostalgia, love, and longing intertwine seamlessly. Rick has been active in the music scene since 2016, when he released his debut single, “Serasa”, a recycle of Indonesian hit song made popular by an Indonesian legend Chrisye. He followed his debut with an original work of his, "Sampai Akhir." In 2017, then "I Need To Know" in 2018. Showcasing his talent not only for heartfelt lyrics but also a knack for a more intricate musical arrangements. Then came the silence. A pause—not of absence, but of growth. Rick made a notable comeback in 2023 with the single "Jimmy Boy." This track, produced in collaboration with Rayendra Sunito and Rifka Rachman, is a touching tribute reflecting on a promise made by a child to his father, emphasizing themes of family, love, and perseverance. Rick described the song as deeply personal, mirroring valuable lessons imparted by his own father during his childhood. 2025 saw another chapter unfold with Note to God, a song of love that never fades, prayers whispered into the night, and echoes of what was left unsaid. It’s a song that doesn’t just play—it lingers. It stays with you long after the last note fades. Apart from his music career, Rick ventured into the world of acting as well in his time with a TV company, taking roles in a sitcom and a mini series.
