Biography

LOVE IS is a music group from Jakarta, Indonesia consisting of Jason Mountario as the founder, composer and on electric bass, Kelvin Andreas on drums, and Sri Hanuraga on piano. Initially, this group was in a trio format but rearranged for Salihara International Performing Arts Festival 2024 into a quartet format with Rainer James joining on saxophone to performed their second album, “Made to Believe”. The name LOVE IS is taken from the title of their first album. LOVE IS had performed on several international and national music festival such as, Java Jazz Festival 2023, Festival Alur Bunyi 2023 Goethe - Institut Indonesien, Papandayan Jazz Festival 2023, Freedoms Jazz Fest S23., Gigstage 2024 Vol.37 and other local clubs.
