João Sabiá is a Brazilian singer/songwriter and actor, born and raised in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. With a 25-year career, he is a leading voice of the Sambalanço music genre, blending influences from Bossa Nova and Samba-Swing with pop, soul, and jazz.

João has released 5 studio albums and collaborated with major Brazilian artists such as Jorge Ben Jor, Ivan Lins, and Toquinho. Alongside his music, he has worked as an actor in film, television, and Brazilian tele-novelas.
