Kevin Yosua Big 6 is a musical format designed to deliver a grander, more expressive, and layered sound where each instrument complements the others. This group consists of Kevin Yosua on double bass, Hansen Arief on drums, Rio Manuel on piano, Evan Sinaga on trombone, Hairul Umam on tenor saxophone, and Mariko Kondo on trumpet.
Their latest project, The Great Indonesian Songbook Vol. 1, offers fresh jazz reinterpretations of classic Indonesian songs.
