Barry Likumahuwa, undisputedly one of Indonesia's finest modern jazz bassists, is hitting a monumental milestone this year. To celebrate a stellar career spanning two decades, he has launched a special retrospective showcase aptly titled "20 Yrs Of Bass Lines."

Born into a deeply musical family—as the son of legendary jazz trombonist Benny Likumahuwa—Barry successfully carved out his own path by picking up the bass guitar and injecting a high-energy fusion of funk, soul, and jazz into the local music scene. His signature slap-bass technique and infectious grooves have spent the last 20 years bridging the gap between traditional jazz enthusiasts and younger generations of music lovers.
